Dear Garden Plain Friends and Neighbors,

After much prayer, thoughtful reflection, and meaningful conversations with my family and community members, I am honored to officially announce my candidacy for Mayor of Garden Plain and for the Renwick USD 267 Board of Education, District 3 – Position 6.

As a resident of Garden Plain for over 12 years, I have seen the strength, resilience, and heart of our town. I am running because I believe our community is ready to not just sustain—but thrive. This is our moment to come together to shape a future built on faith, family values, fiscal responsibility, and visionary leadership.

With over two decades of executive leadership experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors—including human resources, operational management, and community engagement—I understand the real work it takes to deliver results. And I’m committed to doing that work with transparency, collaboration, and compassion.

When elected, I will focus on:

  • Supporting families, businesses, teachers, and students by fostering strong partnerships between our city, schools, and community.

  • Encouraging smart, responsible growth while preserving our small-town values that make Garden Plain special.

  • Strengthening communication and collaboration between city officials, school board members, and the people we serve.

  • Prioritizing faith-based values, fiscal responsibility, and community unity to ensure a thriving future for all generations.

My heart is for this community. I’m not running for a title—I’m stepping forward for a purpose. Let’s work together to create one unified community—where every voice is heard, every business, teacher, and student is supported, and every family has the opportunity to thrive.
